WATER AT MATUPIT, RABAUL

This is one of the three tanks supplied to Matupit Parish by the MSC Mission Office and used by the community as their water source. The picture shows one of our lay missionaries with local children.

Matupit lies in the shadow of Tavurvur volcano, and together with the rest of Rabaul was buried by ash during the eruption of Tavurvur and Vulcan during 1994.
